Melanie de Quadros joined the Hlady Rouleau Law Office team in July 2016. She maintains a general criminal law practice assisting clients with charges relating to property offences, violent offences and drug charges. She also assists clients with institutional charges and mental health review panel hearings.
Melanie was the recipient of the Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP award in Corporate and Commercial Law and the recipient of multiple awards for academic achievement while completing her undergraduate degree in Classical Civilization.
During law school she worked as a research assistant to Professor Adjin-Tettey and was a Member of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund University of Victoria Chapter. She articled at Animal Justice Canada, a charity dedicated to advocacy for animal rights.
